Agh, your work is so dark, someone said the other day. I don't know why I reply, as I am basically a happy person! Now excited to discover I have new work selected for Autumn Open Exhibition 2017, Royal West of England Academy, Queens Square, Bristol, 1 October - 3 December 2017. A new departure in my work, created with findings, offerings and collections of this and that. Originally inspired by re-discovering the bundles I created with artist friend Alex who skillfully transformed textiles together with findings from the landscape, boiling, steaming and shaping, 'printing' with leaves, herbs, rusty bits and pieces.
